What is a Good Citizen?

Citizenship is about more than just living in a particular place. It's about being committed to your country and working towards making it a better place for everyone. At our community action group, we believe that everyone has a role to play in protecting our constitution and keeping our country strong. Join us in rallying for goodness and creating a brighter future for all Americans.

Let’s not forget we are the “Great American Melting Pot”. Except our First Nation peoples, and African American ancestors, who came here against their will as slaves, we are all emigrants or offspring of emigrants who came to these shores fleeing oppression and seeking a better life. It seems that many of our neighbors have forgotten the important lessons we all should have learned in High School Civics class. Lessons about the foundational documents of our Nation; The Declaration of Independence, The Bill of Rights, and the Constitution. And let’s not forget the lessons regarding kindness to others, good sportsmanship, generosity and forgiveness taught in Sunday school.
